For a client specialized in solutions and infrastructures in the renewable energy industry, from the Basque Country, which was born as a result of the Centre – Bavaria program funds in 2014, within the technology transfer program of the European Space Agency.
Our work and approach
We undertook the construction and operation of a wind farm, located near Zaragoza. We proposed an audit of the wind farm’s needs in each of its phases, which we set out in a Due Diligence report. We underwrote the three main policies necessary for the construction and operation of the wind farm: Civil Liability and Construction Liability policies for wind farms, All Risks Construction and Property Damage and Machinery Breakdown, in accordance with the capital and sums insured resulting from the previous analysis.
Results
To allow the favorable financing of the project with all the guarantees on the assets and the operation of the same, duly transferred as risk to the insurance market in a global company of recognized prestige in energy and engineering. We currently assist the client in the processing and management of claims, specifically and mainly for machinery breakdown, guaranteeing its full operation and coverage for interruption of the activity.
